After tearing it up in the first half of 2011, FreQ Nasty steps into the last quarter of the year as a man on a mission with the freshly re-launched FreQNasty.com. It comes complete with free downloads starting now, weekly blog posts, an ever-growing discography that includes personal stories about how the tracks were written, a gallery of pix and vids, a tour schedule, dope FreQ gear and an upcoming members section that puts hardcore fans directly in touch with FreQ Nasty.
To celebrate the launch, get your bad self to the site for a free download of his new track ‘Warm Dark Place (Eyes on the Prize mix)’, a Glitch Hop and Drumstep hybrid featuring a cheeky vocal snippet from Hip Hop legend 2Pac. Equal parts West Coast glitch hop and UK tear-out, the influence of his time in the US Bass heaven of California is obvious. It’s been shredding large sound systems with joyful abandon as he’s played it across the Northern hemisphere Summer season. The track will be featured in a different form on his ‘Low Frequency Pureland EP’ coming mid-November thru FreQNasty.com, but this version will only be available as part of the site launch, so get to it now!
